It's been a while since I was my own employer last.  I have spent the last ~15years in the Telecommunications market working for a Tier 1 Network Equipment Vendor ( Ericsson ) in various capacities: System Design Authority (lead in architecture design), Product Technology Director (Ethernet/IP communications products) and ultimately in the Product Portfolio Management (Business planning / Web Economy) team.
